I’m Jules.

Hi, I’m Jules.

African Queen – 2012

I am a junior at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania studying International Studies with a concentration in globalization and sustainability, French, and Women and Gender Studies. I have been a Girl Scout since I was 5, and I am a recipient of the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards. For my Gold Award, the project of which is ongoing, I organized knitters from around the U.S. to make blankets and warm clothes for Syrian refugees. The knitters donated over 200 pounds of knitted items so far, and dozens of handwritten notes of encouragement to the Al Salaam School in Reyhanli, Turkey.

In addition to my involvement in community service, I am a journalist, artist, and an aspiring global citizen. I have lived in and traveled to many places around the world (Japan, Bolivia, and Bali, to name a few) and in my future career I plan to serve my and other countries that are developing their independence and stability.

Please browse the Projects page to see what I have been working on lately, like my Warm Hands service project, or the Resume page to see my credentials. Visit the My Art page to see my drawings, collages and 3D works. Thanks for visiting!
